Melbourne, Tragic! Four people at once found dead in a house in Melbourne, Australia. All four consist of two adults and two children. They are a Fiji-Indian family.
Police called the case a "tragedy". Unknown cause of death of four people. The four were identified as Nilesh Sharma (34) and his wife Pritika (32), their son, Divesh (8) and their daughter, Divya (4). They were found dead on Tuesday morning local time.
According to local police, they went to the residence after one of his relatives to the police because it was concerned with the family. At the scene, police found four bodies, including a son and a daughter.
Senior Sergeant David Snare said police have not been able to guess the cause of death of the victims prior to an autopsy performed. Snare also declined to say whether there are clues that are found in the house.
"We do not expect any rule or anything," said Snare.
"It's a tragedy," he said. "We get two adults and two children. It was the family home and dirty, so," he added.
A relative told reporters at the scene, the death toll is Fiji-Indian families who moved to Australia about 15 years ago. Abhay Singh, uncle of the dead children, said she was devastated.
"It's really a mystery. We do not know what happened," he said. "The family was very nice, very quiet. It's sad," he concluded.
Police continue to investigate these mysterious deaths.
