LONDON, Having determined to advance to the semifinal round of the Champions League,
Chelsea coach, Roberto Di Matteo, pleaded not wait to face the Spanish giants, Barcelona.
Di Matteo sure will find out how best to deal with Pep Guardiola's team.
"It will be interesting to play two games against one of the best teams in the world. We will find a strategy that will suit our players and our team to face Barcelona," said Di Matteo as reported by Sky Sports.
Chelsea qualified for the round after defeating Benfica beritkutnya with the score 2-1 in the second leg Champions League quarter-final at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday (04/04/2012). Although not favored, Di Matteo believes that the team nicknamed "The Blues" it could prove a game against Barca.
"They clearly have a player who is big and very dangerous threat, but we have to play the game and play with our strength," he said.
In the year 2009 back, Chelsea, Barcelona have met in the same round in the Champions League and was not benefited by the referee and should go home with a draw. They last beat the Catalans in the Champions League 2006-07 season. In response, Di Matteo admitted that the match will be different against Barcelona three years ago.
"We have faced them many times over the years and many of our players have a history against Barcelona. They must find it a bit difficult when played against them three years ago," said the Italian coach while.
