LONDON: Chelsea goalkeeper, Petr Cech, hoping his team can win this season's
Champions League. Although they had to face Barcelona in the semifinals, he won
his team a chance to remain open.
Chelsea qualified for the semi-finals after winning 4-1 over Benfica in the aggregate. In the round, they will face Barcelona.
"You dream of Champions League once in life. We've advanced to the next round and still have a chance to win," Cech wrote on his personal website.
"Now we face the world's best team (Barcelona). But, this has become a necessity if you keep going then eventually met a strong team. You could not turn to the left or right at this stage," he added.
Cech also said, "Everything is possible in football. If you look back at our previous meeting, the battle is intense and determined by the detailed stuff. We know not the favorite, but will not give up."
