Damascus, the death toll continued to fall in Syria. At least 105
Syrians were killed in various violence in some parts of Syria on Monday, April
9 local time. Or the day before the UN peace plan designed scheduled into
force.
The death toll included 23 members of security forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and eight rebel fighters and the rest civilians. Similarly, according to data submitted Syrian human rights group, Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
At least 35 Syrian civilians, including women and children, were killed in an artillery attack that targeted the village of Latamna, Hama Province. Among the victims were killed, 15 of whom are under 18 years and 8 of whom are women.
While in Aleppo province, 27 civilians killed in strikes in the city of Tal Rifaat, where a fierce battle between Syrian troops and the rebels. Also in the province of Aleppo, opposition fighters surrounded a checkpoint in the village of Salama on the border with Turkey. Six Turkish security personnel were killed in the attack.
Previously almost 180 people, mostly civilians, were killed in the violence last weekend.
Syria has experienced turmoil since mid-March 2011 then. According to the UN, thousands of people have been killed during the conflict. Western governments and opposition groups accused the Syrian government forces had killed the demonstrators.
But the Syrian regime blamed the armed terrorist groups over the upheaval. Syrian regime even insisted that the conflict was orchestrated from abroad.
