Sea Water Containing Gold

Sea water contains almost all elements including gold! A precious metal that is often sought by men because of the very high economic value. How much gold is contained in sea water? So why are we not busy panning for gold extracted from sea water? Equipment, effort and energy required for the extracted gold from sea water, with current technology, it can be much more expensive than the economic value of the acquired gold itself! So, yes, there is no point in the economy.
