12 Migrant Workers Killed in Russian Market

MOSCOW - The incidence of fires swept a market on the outskirts of Moscow, Russia. These fires caused 12 migrant workers died on the spot.

"12 dead were former Soviet citizens who came from Central Asia," said fire department spokesman Yevgeny Bobylyov Moscow told the Associated Press, Tuesday (03/04/2012).

Bobylyov said the fire had occurred in the Market Kachalovsky in the morning local time. Reportedly, the fire burned the sheet metal is used as makeshift beds by the workers.

While the cause of the fire is not known by the authorities. Until this news was revealed, the investigation into the incident are still ongoing.

Millions of migrant workers from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan came to Moscow to find work. Many of those who can find work in construction or in the market town booming.
