LONDON, Framework Maludong man found in the area, near the town of
Mengzi in Yunnan Province and in Longlin, Guangxi Province, China.
Discovered in 1979 and 1989, but never learned a long time, paleontologists finally managed to find out that the fossils are aged between 11 500 and 14,500 years. However, until recently, the human species has not been set, just a man called "Red Deer Cave".
In its publication in the journal PLoS ONE on Wednesday (3/14/2012), a paleontologist from China and Australia who conducted the study revealed that the fossil was probably referring to a new species of human.
However, Darren Curnoe from the University of New South Wales which involved the study said, more study remains to be done to classify human fossils were found.
"We will be careful in rank. One reason for the study of human evolution or paleoanthropology, we do not have a general definition of Homo sapiens, our own kind of believe it or not. So, this is very controversial," the BBC quoted Curnoe , Wednesday (14/03/2012).

Curnoe describes, analyzes have shown that human teeth from Longlin and Maludong show similarities. That is, they constitute a single population.
However, when compared with other human species, the fossil was a difference. Human Longlin and Maludong like a mix between ancient and modern humans.
In general, the fossil has a cranial cavity is rounded and prominent at the brow bone. Thick skull, short-faced and flat and has a wide nose.
X-ray scanning of the brain cavity suggests that these cavemen have modern-looking frontal lobe with anterior or parietal lobe that still looks primitive.
Another characteristic, which is found caveman jaw looks a little prominent. However, this man has a chin that is not as prominent features in modern humans.
Curnoe has three scenarios about the origin of this caveman. First, this man represents the primitive Homo sapiens who migrated and live isolated from others.
The second scenario, humans are probably different Homo sapiens, which evolved in Asia and the contemporary of this man for a long time.
Meanwhile, the third scenario is proposed that this may be the result of human interbreeding.
"It's possible this man is the result of interbreeding between modern humans and early hominids that existed at the time. Other options, they evolved separately due to genetics or stress isolation in response to environmental stresses such as climate," said Isabelle De Groote, paleoanthropologist National History Museum, Lonson.
DNA analysis remains to be done to make sure everything is. However, regardless of new species or not, the fossil remains important because the condition is still good and able to describe the complexity of the migration and development of the human species.
"Red Deer Cave Man lived in the area that used to be very attractive in China, in the so-called epipaleolitik or late Stone Age. Not far from Longlin, there is preliminary evidence sistus epipaleolitik archaeological places in East Asia was found. It was occupied by a man who had looked modern and have started making pottery for storing food, and they began to harvest wild rice. There is an interesting transition between hunting and gathering to agriculture, "says Curnoe.
In subsequent studies, Curnoe who also worked with Ji Xueping from the Yunnan Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology will analyze cultural artefacts and stone tools were found. Could this caveman will become our new family?
