Yuval Siskin, the former head of Israel's
intelligence agency, Shin Bet, accused the leaders of misleading the public about Iran. Diskin has accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak to deceive people about a possible attack
against Iran to prevent Tehran build a nuclear bomb.
"The main problem is I do not trust the current leaders who can lead us into war with Iran or regional war," Diskin said in comments published military radio and newspaper Haaretz.
"They are misleading the public about the issue of Iran. They told the public when Israel acts, Iran will not make nuclear bombs. That is wrong. In fact, many experts say Israel attacks Iran's nuclear race will accelerate," he added.
Jewish citizens of the 'racist'
Diskin, who go down as head of internal security of Israel, Shin Bet, last year, said in a statement criticizing the leader in the area of Kfar Saba on the outskirts of Tel Aviv.
In March, the former leader, Mossad, Meir Dagan also criticized the military option against Iran.
He told U.S. TV network CBS that an Israeli attack would be "devastating impact" for Israel and will not end Iran's nuclear program.
Regarding the relationship between Jews and other groups, Diskin said, "In 10-15 years, Israel became increasingly racist. All studies point to here. Racism against Arab citizens and foreigners, and we also become more angry people."
Diskin also said political assassination as happened to Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin in 1995 by Jewish ekstirmis, can occur in the future. "We have Jewish extremists ... who are willing to take up arms against their own Jewish brothers," said Diskin.
