TEHRAN - Iran's Armed Forces Commander Major General (Maj.) Ataollah Salehi said Iran had given warning to the two American carriers (AS) who was in the
Persian Gulf region not to stop certain dititik specified by the Navy (Navy) Iran.
"We have warned the U.S. carriers that they should not stop at a certain point in the Persian Gulf region that could be a threat to Iran, and they obey the warning," said Iran's Armed Forces Commander Major General Ataollah Salehi.
Major General Ataollah Salehi also said the U.S. action which sends its carrier to the Persian Gulf region was a publicity stunt that did not have a specific military purpose.
"They are a soft target for us," added Major General Ataollah Salehi.
Earlier on April 9 The U.S. Navy reportedly has sent two ships to the Persian Gulf region its parent, the USS Abraham Lincoln and the USS Enterprise.
The U.S. action was allegedly taken to suppress Iran's nuclear dialogue between the State following the Persian, with six countries of the world or the so-called P5 +1 group.
Foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton EU is leading the way nuclear dialogue, said that so far a meeting between Iran and Western nations walked constructive. The second dialogue was scheduled to take place on 23 May to find a peaceful solution to Iran's nuclear program.
