Dinosaur Eggs 60 Million Years Old Found in Chechnya



Chechnya - A Russian geologists discovered the origin of dinosaur egg fossils 60 million years old in Chechnya. He was sure, there are many fossils in the ground and the mound of the mountain.

"We found approximately 40 dinosaur eggs, but the actual number is still not confirmed," said geologists from the University of Chechen, Said-Emin Dzhabrailov.


Dinosaur eggs were discovered when construction workers tear down the side of a hill to build a highway near the Georgia and the Caucasus Mountains. The team of geologists immediately climb a rocky hill located near the construction site.

Dzhabrailov said the Chechen authorities began to consider changing the area into a cultural heritage in order to attract attention of tourists in Russia.

Chechnya is a region that had previously hit by a separatist war in 1994 and 2001. Nevertheless, the violence in Chechnya began to decline after the local government began to carry out a project to enhance the tourism potential in Chechnya.
