San Antonio Spurs a series victory to progress to 10, where it makes them now tops the Western Region. Elsewhere Miami Heat finished the series win at home at number 17.
Competed in the AT & T Center on Saturday (04/07/2012) morning local time, the Spurs went on to win 10 rounds without getting bogged down after a beat New Orleans Hornets. Facing the weakest team in the area, Spurs won 128-103.
The win, coupled with the defeat of the Indiana Pacers Oklahoma City, made the Spurs for the first time this season right to the top of the Western Conference.
"We did not play well in the second half of the previous game, so we want to play better and more focused and perform better. It's so good start for us," ujat Tim Duncan was quoted as saying after the game Yahoosports.
Contributed with 19 points in those games, plus six rebounds and two assists, Duncan finished his team's best performers. While the pinnacle of New Orleans, Eric Gordon appeared primed after making 31 points.
Meanwhile in the American Airlines Arena, the Heat have to finish the series Miamu home victory which had amounted to 17 games. Host Memphis Grizzlies, the host is subject to the position 82-97.
"Great team win the match from start to finish. We are working hard. We beat them. They miss the shots that they normally did, but we were there for every shot they release," said Memphis guard, Gilbert Arenas.
