LONDON - British Prime Minister David Cameron announced a British citizen and
an Italian citizen was killed in a rescue operation led by the British elite.

"Previous arrangements were made for the rescue operation of McManus and Chris Franco Lamolinara. Nigeria Government to do this operation with support from the UK. But with regret I must announce that they were both killed in the rescue operation," said British Prime Minister David Cameron as quoted AFP Friday (09/03/2012).
PM Cameron added, it was still awaiting confirmation of the deaths related incidents are British citizens and Italian. But Cameron said the early indications are clear, they were killed by the kidnappers before it was saved.
Chris McManus and Franco Lamolinara who works at a construction company Stabilini Visinoni reportedly kidnapped in May 2011 and then in their apartment in the city of Birnin Kebbi. The Nigerian government accused kidnappers of two foreign nationals is performed olek Islamic militant group Boko Haram.
President of Nigeria Goodluck Jonathan said the murder of two foreigners took place in the city of Sokoto after a shootout took place between the kidnappers and rescue forces.
